Gibson Custom's ES-339 semi-hollow body electric guitar takes the legendary sound of Gibson's larger ES Series guitars, and delivers it in a smaller body size that's perfect for guitarists more comfortable with solidbody instruments. It sports the same musical versatility and incredible playability as its big brother, the ES-335, which was the guitar of choice for legends such as Freddie King, Chuck Berry, and Otis Rush. The Gibson Custom ES-339 provides the same rich resonance and harmonic complexity that semi-hollow bodies are revered for, with bodily proportions that are closer to Gibson's LP and SG models. The lightly-arched maple top adorns a semi-hollow maple body, with a solid maple center block that reduces feedback and enhances sustain. No matter what style of music you play, you'll love the uncompromising tone, feel, and look of the Gibson Custom ES-339.
