The Epiphone Kirk Hammett "Greeny" Les Paul Standard is a collaborative creation between Epiphone and the Gibson Custom Shop. This guitar pays its respect to Kirk's iconic original with its key characteristic of the unique "Greeny" sound, attributed in part to the out-of-phase middle switch position resulting from the reversed magnetic polarity of the neck pickup. Gibson USA Greeny bucker pickups, featuring reversed magnetic polarity in the neck pickup and reverse mounting, capture the essence of "Greeny's" iconic tone. The control layout, including 2 volume and 2 tone knobs with 50s wiring, is complemented by CTS potentiometers and Mallory capacitors, ensuring a responsive and articulate sonic palette.

The mahogany neck boasts a custom Greeny profile, creating a unique playing experience. The Indian laurel fingerboard, adorned with 22 frets and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays, further provides a dynamic platform for fretting.

In the hardware department, the Epiphone ABR bridge and LockTone Stopbar tailpiece contribute to the guitar's stability and sustain, while the Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons, on the Gibson-style "open book" headstock, provide precise tuning control, while nickel plating adds a touch of vintage elegance.

Condition Notes:

Neck/Headstock: Finish cracks on either side of neck at nut.

Body: Light scuff mark on upper horn edge. A couple of light scratches throughout.
