The Factor basses were conceived and developed by Phil Kubicki in the mid 1980s using the design criteria of human factors/ergonomics. The science of human factors was the foundation for the engineering of the patented bridge tuner device, the patented string clasp "D" string tuning mechanism and other unique and innovative features. The Factor playing experience is enhanced by its perfect balance in playing position due to the body mounted bridge/tuner module that redistributes the weight from the head to the body. Also, the ergonomic position of the tuning knobs mounted at a comfortable 35 degrees from the body allows for easy, fast, and accurate tuning. Factor Basses have been used by many prominent players such as Roger Waters, Stu Hamm, Victor Wooten and David Hood.

Condition Notes:

Neck/Headstock: Light impressions in neck. Tiny ding in fretboard between 3rd and 4th frets. Age wear on fretboard. A few tiny dings around headstock edge. Satin neck finish has been worn to semi-gloss.

Body: Scratches and dings throughout. Finish chips and cracks on bottom edge.
