Own a guitar with a unique place in Gibson history with the limited-edition Gibson Government Series Explorer solidbody electric guitar. In August 2011, federal authorities raided Gibson's Nashville facility and confiscated a quantity of wood, much of it rosewood. After the material was later returned, Gibson used some of that rosewood to create the fretboards featured on this special-edition model. The Government Series Explorer combines authentic Gibson tone, distinctive styling, and U.S.-made craftsmanship in a guitar that stands out as both a player's instrument and a noteworthy collectible.
Condition Notes: Used
A few tiny dings and finish chips throughout. High touch areas have taken on a glossier appearance. Government Series logo on pickguard is half worn off.
