The S1070PBZ is an S series solid body guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2018. It is produced in Indonesian as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The S1070PBZ features a 6.5mm thick poplar burl top with a walnut, curly maple and panga panga strip down the center with natural binding on an African mahogany body. The bolt-on neck is an eleven piece panga panga, maple, walnut and bubinga Wizard neck with a rosewood fingerboard. 24 stainless steel frets, offset pearl dot position markers and luminescent side dots complete the neck. Additional components include DiMarzio pickups with a pair of humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3Fe tuning stabilizer and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
In 2021 a new White Frost Burst finish was introduced exclusively for the US market.
